Two Homes Hit by Bullets in Indio Shooting
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting in a residential neighborhood in an unincorporated area of Indio late Wednesday night.
It happened just before 11 p.m. on the 81000 block of Sirocco Avenue.
Investigators say two homes were hit by gunfire during the shooting, but no one was hurt.
Witnesses say two cars pulled up along the street, and there was an exchange of gunfire between them.
“It was like something out of a moviem” said one witness. “Because they were right next to each other and opened fire, I was like ‘Wow, unbelievable’.”
No suspects were found.
Investigators say an older white Nissan Sentra and a black Toyota Celica may have been involved.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
