Area Leaders Come Out Against Proposition 23

In the weeks leading up to the November 2 election, Palm Springs City Council members voted unanimously to oppose proposition 23. If passed, prop 23 would put a hold on new emission standards until the state’s unemployment rate drops to 5.5% or less for an entire year.
