Indio Convenience Store Hit By Hold-Up Overnight

Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies were looking for two men who held up a Circle K convenience store early Monday morning.

The robbery happened around 1:30 a.m. at the store located at Clinton Street and Fred Waring, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s spokesperson.

Witnesses said the two men entered the store, demanded money and left.

News Channel 3 spoke to to the clerk who was robbed, and he said he was alright. He wondered if the suspected thieves saw the large monitor mounted to the ceiling showing that they were being recorded on a surveillance camera.

Investigators now have the recordings from that camera, and they hoped it would lead them to the suspects.

If you have any information about this crime, call the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
