3.9 Magnitude Earthquake Rattles Region South of Mexican Border

A 3.9 magnitude earthquake hit an area south of the California/Mexico border Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor hit just before 9 a.m. PST in an area 16 miles south southwest of Guadalupe Victoria in Baja, California.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.

News Channel 3 was still waiting to see if the USGS had any reports of the earthquake being felt on the U.S. side of the border.

We’ll update the information as we get it.
