Powder Laced Envelope Targeted For ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Bristol Palin
A powder-laced letter received at “Dancing with the Stars” production offices that set off a scare at CBS studios may have been addressed to Bristol Palin, it was reported today.
Sources told TMZ.com that the talcum powder was found in a piece of fan mail addressed to the daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
The scare started about 4:50 p.m. Friday with evacuations at CBS Television City, but the substance was later determined to be harmless, according to the ABC, which produces the show shot on the CBS lot.

Laura Eimiller of the FBI said the letter and the powder would be taken to a regional lab for more testing, Eimiller said.
According to ABC: “An envelope containing an unknown substance was delivered to the Dancing with the Stars production office on Friday evening. Security and the Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department were immediately notified. Measures were taken to secure the area and ensure the safety of personnel. Ultimately we were advised by the LAFD that the substance was determined to be talcum powder.”
