A fire damaged a vacant double-wide mobile home today near La Quinta.
The blaze broke out for unknown reasons about 11:45 a.m. at the trailer on Avenue 58 and Van Buren Street, according to Cheri Patterson of the Riverside County Fire Department.
Two dozen firefighters contained the flames within about 25 minutes, Patterson said.
