Coachella Valley Gets Breather Before Next Storm
Riverside County will have a chance to dry out on Thursday before another storm rolls into town late Friday, forecasters said.
On Wednesday, Palm Springs saw no rain, while Thermal saw a trace.

Riverside received .17 inches of rain, Ontario received .43, Perris received .23, Lake Elsinore received .2 and Temecula received .31, according to the National Weather Service.
Another stronger storm is expected to arrive late Friday and continue through Saturday. Rain will be heavy at times in the Inland Empire, and there will be strong gusty winds, especially in the mountains and deserts, the Weather Service advised.
Friday’s storm is expected to drop 1 to 1.5 inches of rain in the valleys and 1.5 to 3.5 in the mountains.
