Zellerbach To Head Up President’s Day Parade In Indio

The annual Presidents’ Day Parade will take to the streets of Indio today.

New District Attorney Paul Zellerbach will serve as the Grand Marshal as the annual event heads down the streets of Indio.

The parade begins at Miles Avenue Park at 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Deglet Noor Street and Miles Avenue.

The parade is part of the 65th annual Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival, which opened Friday. It runs through Feb. 27 at the Riverside County Fairgrounds on Highway 111 in Indio.

Zellerbach served 22 years in the District Attorney’s Office before moving into the top spot at the start of the year. He is active in many community organizations, including the Riverside County High School Mock Trial Program, Riverside Human Relations Commission and Riverside Family Services Association Board of Directors, event spokeswoman JoAnn Terrell Cornelius said.
