Indio Shoe Store Robbed At Gunpoint
Indio Police are investigating a robbery at the Payless Shoe Source on Highway 111 at 6:30 pm Tuesday night.
An armed man wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and a bandana pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cash.
After the clerk gave him the money, the thief forced the clerk into a back bathroom and ran away.
No one was injured during the robbery.
