Banning RV Shop Hit By Fire

A repair shop at Ray’s RV in Banning went up in flames Thursday after witnesses heard several loud explosions.

Cal Fire responded to the scene on the 4500 block of West Ramsey street with six engines, breathing support and 22 firefighters.

A 4,000 square foot building was destroyed, along with a travel trailer and three motor homes.

Cal Fire estimates that there was more than $1 million in damage.

There were no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation
