La Quinta Payless Robbed At Gunpoint

Deputies are looking for clues in the armed robbery of a La Quinta shoe store.

At just before 7 p.m. Friday an armed man entered the Payless Shoe Source on Highway 111 in La Quinta and demanded cash.

The man is described as a Hispanic man wearing dark clothing. He got away with an unknown amount of cash.

Deputies are reviewing surveillence video and talking with employees to get a better description of the thief.
