La Quinta Toddler Escapes Drowning

A toddler was rescued today after nearly drowning in the pool at his family’s home in the La Quinta Cove, a Cal Fire spokeswoman said.

Paramedics called to 52395 Avenida Vallejo just before noon were able to resuscitate the 2-year-old boy, said Cheri Patterson of Cal Fire.

He was breathing and conscious when transported to a hospital, she said.
