Armed Robbery at La Quinta Massage Parlor
Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies said two robbers made off with cash after holding up the Massage Envy store on Highway 111 and Dune Palms in La Quinta.
It happened late Wednesday night, just before 10:30.
Deputies said the two men came in wearing dark clothing and holding what they believed may have been a handgun. They demanded cash from the store clerks. The employees complied, and the suspects took off. Workers immediately called 911.
Investigators said they do not have a more detailed description of the suspects at this time or an idea on how they got away.
Nobody was hurt in the robbery.
