Palm Springs Police Search For Gunman

Palm Springs police were looking for a man who shot and killed his girlfriend’s dog inside her home on Monday.

Police responded to the call along the 1900 block of Marguerite around 4:30 p.m. on Monday after they received a call concerning shots fired in the area.

They found a pit bull had been shot dead on the kitchen floor.

The woman at the home told police her ex-boyfriend Raymond Espinoza, 35, had fired the gun and left.

Police said Espinoza had a felony warrant for being a parolee at large. He was considered armed and dangerous, and if anyone sees him they should not approach him. Instead, police said they should call 911 immediately.

Espinoza was described as an Hispanic male, 5’3″ tall, 180 pounds, brown hair and eyes and clean shaven.
