N. Indian Canyon Closed Due To Wind
Indian Canyon Dr. was closed early Tuesday morning to northbound traffic due to fierce winds that whipped through the area.
The street was closed at Tramview Rd. for northbound traffic and southbound traffic was stopped at Palm Springs Station Road.
High winds have caused a substantial amount of sand buildup across the southbound lane of the roadway, according to city crews. They advise drivers to use an alternate routes and avoid the area of the closure.
Gene Autry Trail and Vista Chino remain open.
