Target Robbery Suspect Caught At At Palm Springs Pub

A man police suspect of robbing the Target store pharmacy in Cathedral City was arrested at a Palm Springs pub on Wednesday.

Cathedral City police lieutenant Chuck Robinson said Steven James DeAngelis, 32, was spotted at the Hair of the Dog Pub in Palm Springs by an anonymous person who called police.

Palm Springs police arrived and spoke with DeAngelis. Cathedral City police searched his room at the Motel 6 in Palm Springs and found prescription medication that was stolen from the Target on Monday night.

DeAngelis also had three active misdemeanor warrants for his arrest, said Robinson. He was booked at the county jail in Banning, waiting to be charged with armed robbery.
