Desert Hot Springs Toddler Drowns In Backyard Pool

A Desert Hot Springs toddler died on Wednesday evening after drowning in a backyard pool.

Rescue workers transported the child to a nearby hospital on Wednesday afternoon where he later died.

Ambulances responded to the 12000 block of Redbud Road in Desert Hot Springs just after 3:30 p.m.

The child was listed in critical condition until later in the evening when he passed away.

Desert Hot Springs police do not suspect foul play, calling the situation a tragic accident.
