4 Arrested Following Saturday Night Checkpoint

Officers staffing a checkpoint in Thermal arrested two people for suspicion of drunken driving, Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Jeronimo Contreras said today.

Two other people during Saturday night’s operation were arrested for suspicion of driving on a suspended license, according to Contreras.

Officers also issued 27 citations for motorists found to be unlicensed or driving without a driver’s license, 16 vehicles were cited for hazardous equipment violations and seven vehicles were seized, Contreras said.
