Desert Hot Springs Man Arrested In Pot Bust
A Desert Hot Springs man on probation had a surprise inspection today, and police found more than $7,400 worth of marijuana in his abode, the Desert Hot Springs Police Department said.
David Castaneda, 30, could face multiple felony charges, including possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of live ammunition and probation violation, police said in a statement.
Castaneda was arrested Sunday at 6:16 a.m.
According to the report, officers found marijuana, marijuana sales packaging and paraphernalia, plants being grown and ammunition, which were seized.
Castaneda was booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning today.
He is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail, according to police.
