Well-Dressed Men Break Into Indio Home

Indio police are looking for two men who were part of a home invasion robbery on Monday morning.

Investigators said the robbery happened at 11:50 a.m. on the 46500 block of Monte Verde.

They said two white men, one standing about 6-feeet tall and another 5′ 6″, wore long-sleeved white dress shirts, ties and black and grey slacks and sunglasses as they knocked on a door.

A woman answered, and the men burst in armed with two handguns and a stun gun.

They tied up the woman with speaker wire and robbed the home of jewelry.

The suspects then ran to Chia Street where they were seen getting into an older model, white hatchback with no hubcaps on the right side.

The woman was not injured.
