Deputies Search For Suspected Bank Robber
La Quinta police are searching for a man they believe may be behind a bank robbery last Friday.
Officers investigating leads in the Bank of America robbery in La Quinta identified their main suspect as Thomas Tischler, 44, of La Quinta.
Tischler is described as a white male adult, 5’08”, 160 lbs. with grey hair.
Early Saturday morning, Sgt. Tony Baur said investigators searched a home in the 51000 block of Calle Jacumba. Tischler was not found there, and he is still on the loose; he could be armed and dangerous, said Baur.
