Registered Sex Offender Arrested For Molestation

Riverside County sheriff’s deputies arrested an Indio man on Friday after accusations surfaced he molested a child at his former home.

Sgt. Tony Bauer said Robert Corona, 49, of Indio, was a registered sex offender when he molested a girl during the last three months he lived in Bermuda Dunes.

The crime reportedly happened along the 78000 block of Avenue 42, Bauer said.

Investigators arrested Corona on Friday, June 17, and he was booked into the Indio Jail, where he is held on $1,000,000.
