Congress Moves To Change Popular Hair Technique

Some members of Congress wrote a letter to the Food and Drug Administration claiming the current law on the hair technique known as the ?Brazilian Blowout? is broken.

In their letter, they also wrote large doses of Formaldehyde should be illegal and salon workers could be at risk.

There are a growing number of serious health problems from hair and personal care products.

Here are some of the changes congress wants to make:

* Phase out dangerous ingredients. * Create new safety standards for children, the elderly and others. * Close labeling loopholes, requiring full disclosure of ingredients.
