County Extends Heat Warning Through July 4 Holiday
Riverside County health officials extended a heat warning through July 6 on Wednesday with temperatures expected to exceed 100 degrees.
Cool centers will be open for people who are without air conditioning, according to the health department’s website.

Those especially vulnerable are children and the elderly. They were encouraged to visit a cool center during the hottest part of the day to get snacks and water.
Family and friends were also encouraged to look for the signs of heat stroke and heat exhaustion, which include: headache, dizziness, weakness and muscle pain, nausea and vomiting.
