Palm Springs Schools Free Summer Lunches
The Palm Springs Unified School District is serving up Coachella Valley area students under 18 this summer.
This particular program starts Tuesday, July 5th, at Agua Caliente Elementary School in Cathedral City. That’s on San Luis Rey Drive.
It runs thru the end of next month.
Lunches will be available at the multi-purpose room from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.
The program is the summer edition of the federally funded free and reduced-cost lunches.
Students do need to apply for eligibility, which includes proof of annual household income below a certain figure.
Other breakfast and lunch distribution centers include:
Cathedral City High School, 11:30 a.m. to noon through July 8.
Desert Hot Springs High School, 11:30 a.m. to noon through July 8.
Katherine Finchy Elementary School, 10 to 11 a.m. through July 8.
YMCA at Coyote Run, noon to 1 p.m. through Aug. 12.
YMCA at Arroyo Paz, noon to 1 p.m. through Aug. 12.
Sunrise Park, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Aug. 19.
Desert Highland Center, 480 Tramview Road in Palm Springs, 1 to 2 p.m. through Aug. 19.
Boys and Girls Club of Desert Hot Springs, 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. through Aug. 19.
Boys and Girls Club of Cathedral City, noon to 1 p.m. through Aug. 19.
Thousand Palms Rec Center, noon to 1 p.m. through Aug. 19.
