Firefighters Investigate Cause Of Desert Hot Springs Fire
Officials are investigating the cause of a fire that burned a bedroom in an an apartment building, a county fire spokeswoman said today.
No one was hurt in the fire, and firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, reported about 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Casa del Sol apartments in the 66500 block of Fourth Street, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.
About 20 firefighters contained the fire to one bedroom in the two-story building by 9 p.m., and only the room and its contents were damaged, she said.
