Palm Springs Gas Prices See Largest Drop Most In A Month

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire recorded its largest daily decrease since July 8 today, falling seven-tenths of a cent to $3.786, the lowest since July 17.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is seven- tenths of a cent less than one week ago, but 1.9 cents more than one month ago and 67.5 cents higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price had not changed by more than three-tenths of cent for 14 consecutive days before today.
