Police Comb Area Near Ruth Hardy Park After Morning Stabbing
Police officers were canvassing an area around Ruth Hardy Park on Wednesday after a man was stabbed with a pair of garden shears.
The incident happened around 10:20 a.m. on the 800 block of Chuckwala.
When police arrived, they said the victim refused medical treatment and wanted to walk to Desert Regional Medical Center, a few blocks away.
Regardless of his request, police called an ambulance.to transport him.
It’s not clear if there were any other victims, and police did not provide a description of the man they’re looking for.
