Teen Admits To String Of Burglaries In Desert Hot Springs
Desert Hot Springs police say a 17-year old boy has confessed to a string of burglaries around the city.
Officers stopped the juvenile about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, near Ironwood Drive and Mesquite Avenue.
They found he had several items that were stolen in a recent burglary, and arrested him, according to Desert Hot Springs police Sgt. Brian Link.
After questioning the boy, police say he admitted to a number of home break-ins over the past month.
The suspect’s name is not being released because of his age.
He was booked into Riverside County’s juvenile hall on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property.
