Palm Springs Seeks Volunteers To Oversee Measure J Funds

The Palm Springs City Council is now accepting applications for a 7-member Measure J Oversight Commission, city leaders announced on Wednesday.

Members will ensure that the voter-approved funds for the revitalization of downtown Palm Springs and City-wide capital improvement projects are spent with community input.

The deadline to submit your application is Thurs., Jan. 12. You must be a registered voter and resident of Palm Springs to apply.

“The passage of Measure J is very exciting for the City of Palm Springs and will be transformational for our community,” said Mayor Steve Pougnet. “I encourage anyone with an interest in the future of our City to apply for this important commission.”
