Man Collapses, Dies At Palm Springs Film Fest Gala

A man collapsed and later died at the Palm Springs International Film Festival gala, it was reported today.

A spokesperson with the Palm Springs Police Department said an ambulance arrived at the Palm Springs Convention Center in the 200 block of North Avenida Caballeros about 6 p.m. Saturday.

Paramedics tried to revive the man before he was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
