Gas Prices Rise Again In Palm Springs Area

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire and Palm Springs areas rose a half-cent today to $3.71, one day after dropping by the same amount.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 3.6 cents more than one week ago, 13.6 cents higher than a month ago and 37.6 cents greater than a year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has risen 19 of the past 21 days, increasing by 21.1 cents during that period.
