Winds Die Down, Advisory Canceled
Strong gusty winds didn’t make it to the mountains and valleys in Riverside and San Bernardino counties today, forcing the National Weather Service to scrap a wind advisory.

Still, wind gusts of 40 mph were expected to blow through the afternoon in the Palm Springs and Coachella Valley areas, so extra care is still required on freeways and highways.
