Leader Of Palm Springs Board of Realtors Dies

The executive director of the Palm Springs Board of Realtors has died.

Samuel Schenkl, of Rancho Mirage, was found dead on a Florida beach last Friday morning.

Officials say Schenkl had been undergoing treatment for cancer at Loma Linda Medical Center in California.

Foul play is not suspected in his death.

Schenkl had served as the executive director of the Palm Springs Association of Realtors since 2003.

He was 51 years old.
