Cathedral City Firefighters Investigate House Fire

Firefighters were called to 69190 San Susanna Avenue in Cathedral City just after 10 Thursday night. Firefighters say the fire started on the roof of a vacant foreclosed home worth $150,000. 18 firefighters knocked down the flames within 20 minutes. At one point the fire threatened other homes but no other structures were damaged.

The fire caused $100,000 worth of damage. No one was injured. The cause is still under investigation.
