Palm Springs Shed Fire Calmed Quickly
A Palm Springs house fire is under investigation.
A spokesman for the Palm Springs Fire Department said the fire broke out around 1:30 Sunday afternoon on Chuperosa Road.
A man told dispatchers he drove by and saw a shed on fire at the vacant home.
He jumped out of his car and tried to help.
“I ran into his backyard and grabbed his hose and started putting it out,” Gary Costa said. “This guy here started bringing water from the pool, and started throwing water onto the fire.”
The fire department showed up and finished the job. No one was hurt.
