Four People Hurt In ATV Crash
An all-terrain vehicle crashed into a parked car Saturday night, leaving two riders hospitalized in critical condition, according to Indio firefighters.
Two other people also suffered injuries listed as moderate and minor, said Cheri Patterson of the county fire department.
It was not clear if they were in the car or near it.
The crash was reported at 6:51 p.m. Saturday on Monroe Street near Avenue 40 on Indio’s northern edge.
The ATV riders were not wearing protective gear, Patterson said.
