Eastbound Interstate 10 Back Open After Accident

California Highway Patrol officers re-opened all eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 on Monday after a shut down caused by an accident east of Indio.

Officer Joe Zagorski said the accident involved several vehicles, including a moving truck and a van around 1:45 p.m. Monday, just east of the Cactus City rest area.

Crews working on the accident got the roadway back up and ruining in about 45 minutes..

At the same time, CHP officers are working on a single-vehicle accident on the westbound side of Interstate 10, east of the rest area.

No one was injured in the second accident.
