Never too late to learn

Ever wish you could go back to the good old days…back to school? Quit wishing. Now you can make it your summer reality.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Cal State San Bernardino’s Palm Desert campus is offeringsummer classes designed for people over 50.

Registration is going now with classes beginning June 12.

Not your run of the mill courses will be offered either. Topics include, famous mutinies, modern religions, Mexican art, political films and the history of computers, according to campus spokesman Mike Singer.

Singer went on to say, “The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is a program designed for adults 50 and older who want to experience learning for the fun of it.”

Courses are offered for no credit and there are no grades, tests or
homework. Quarterly memberships are $150, and courses typically cover subjects
in arts and humanities, natural sciences and social sciences.
