Paying More at the Pump

RIVERSIDE, Calif – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose today for the sixth consecutive day, increasing 1.6 cents to $4.357.

The increases stem from record low gasoline inventories and continued refinery issues, according to Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 15.6 cents more than a week ago, 11.8 cents higher than one month ago and 14.5 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
