Coldstone Creamery robbed in La Quinta
The Coldstone Creamery in La Quinta was robbed Wednesday afternoon, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The robber entered the ice cream store on Highway 111 and Washington Street around 1:30 p.m. According to sheriff’s deupties, the robber brandished a handgun and demanded money, before taking off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was injured in the incident, sheriff’s spokeswoman Lisa McConnell said.
