3.5 earthquake rattles Big Bear region

A small earthquake shook parts of the San Bernardino National Forest on Thursday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake — measuring 3.5 in magnitude — hit around 11:18 a.m. and was centered around 3 miles north of Big Bear City and 6 miles northeast of Big Bear Lake, according to the USGS.

There were no reports of any damage or injuries.
