1 dead in Lake Skinner helicopter crash

One person is confirmed dead after a helicopter crash in western Riverside County.

County fire spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said dispatchers received reports of a helicopter crashing around 10:15 a.m.

Fire crews arrived at the location, just west of Borel Road, near Temecula, where they found the helicopter wreckage and confirmed one person had died.
