Cabazon burglary suspects freed

Four Orange County men in their 20s suspected of stealing $10,000 worth of purses from the Dolce & Gabbana outlet store in Cabazon were free on bail today.

The men — 25-year-old Paul Hayes of Anaheim, 26-year-old Ackeem Ramsay of Anaheim, 22-year-old Nquenzeni Moyo of Garden Grove and 21-year-old Anthony Smith of Buena Park — were arrested at 8:50 p.m. Sunday on suspicion of burglary.

They were all booked at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning and posted bonds in varying amounts on Monday and today.

The burglary was reported at 8:10 p.m. on Sunday at the Dolce & Gabbana store at Desert Hills Premium Outlets at 48650 Seminole Drive.

Store employees and a mall patron said three men entered as employees
were locking up, took numerous high-end purses and left in a silver Mercedes-Benz with paper dealer plates, sheriff’s Sgt. Alan Meservey said.

Deputies waited for the vehicle on westbound Interstate 10 at Highland
Springs Avenue, and followed it as it headed west onto Highway 60 toward Moreno Valley.

Deputies stopped the vehicle on Highway 60 west of Jack Rabbit Trail,
arrested the four suspects and found the purses in the vehicle, Meservey said.
