Rose Parade Wedding

Planning a wedding? How about one with 52 million or
so guests?
One lucky couple will win the chance to get married in front of a live
and television audience by becoming the first people ever joined in matrimony
aboard a float in the Rose Parade, Farmers Insurance announced today.
Farmers’ 54th entry in the Rose Parade in January will be themed “The
Love Float,” and the company began a nationwide contest today to find a couple
interested in exchanging vows aboard the float during the parade — with no
shortage of flowers.
Interested couples can enter on the Farmers Insurance Facebook page —
www.Facebook.com/FarmersInsurance — by Oct. 14. A panel of judges will select
up to four finalists, and the public will choose the winning couple.
The winners will earn a trip to Pasadena, along with up to six wedding
witnesses. The couple will also receive a wedding dress, tuxedo, wedding rings,
hair and makeup for the bride, marriage license fees and two tickets to the
Rose Bowl Game.
“Across the country there are thousands of couples deserving of a
history making wedding experience,” Michael L. Linton, enterprise chief
marketing officer for Farmers Insurance. “We’re asking for submissions from
all corners of the country so look around, ask your friends and neighbors, and
see if you can spread the word to a couple that deserves this unique honor. The
`Love Float’ is a chance for Farmers Insurance to honor a great American love
story.”
