Gas prices continue downward trend

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire fell four-tenths of a cent today to $4.109, the 16th decline in 18 days.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 1.5 cents less than one week ago and four-tenths of a cent lower than one month ago but 23.7 cents higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has decreased 4.6 cents over the past 18 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Wednesday.
