Earthquake felt south of Coachella valley

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake was felt south of the Coachella valley early Tuesday morning.

The quake was felt at 1:28 a.m., in a remote area centered 10 miles northwest of Ocotillo, about 35 miles west of El Centro.

The U.S. Geological Survey says people around southern California reported feeling minor shaking.

There were no reports of any injuries or damage.
