Waterford unveils crystal ball twist for New Year’s Eve
Waterford is rolling out an updated crystal ball for New Year’s Eve. The ball that will drop in New York’s Times Square has 288 new crystal panels. Doves are chiseled into them as part of the theme “Let There Be Peace.” The Irish crystal company says organizers are doing something special this year. You’re invited to send in a personal message of peace via social media. Some will be read during a live webcast. The rest will be posted online.
