New photos released of Bank Robber

Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a bank robbery at the Pacific Western Bank on Highway 111 and Village Center Drive in Indian Wells.

Riverside County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Angel Ramos says, that around 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, February 5th, a white man in his 20’s entered the bank, displayed a gun to a teller, who complied and gave the robber money. The robber left the bank on foot through the parking lot.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his 20’s, about 6’1 in height with a husky build weighing around 215-220 pounds with acne marks. He was dressed in all black clothing, wearing black sunglasses.

Over the past month 3 banks were held up, 2 banks in Palm Springs and one in Rancho Mirage.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and Palm Springs Police Department are working the cases and believe the same suspect may be responsible for these 3 robberies.

If you have any information about Tuesday’s robbery or any of the bank robberies last week, call police or Valley Crimestoppers at (760) 341-STOP.
