Jeb Bush set to speak tomorrow in Indian Wells
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush will speak to asellout crowd in Indian Wells tomorrow.
The son of former President George H.W. Bush and younger brother offormer President George W. Bush served two terms as Florida governor from 1999to 2007 and appears to be mulling a 2016 White House bid.
He drew headlines for saying in his new book, “Immigration Wars,” thathe opposes granting illegal immigrants U.S. citizenship. During the 2012presidential election, he said illegal immigrants should be given a shot atcitizenship and legal residency.
Bush canceled appearances today in Washington, D.C., because of a majorsnowstorm, but plans to travel from Florida to the Coachella Valley fortomorrow’s 6 p.m. speech at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa, accordingto Desert Town Hall’s interim executive director, Becky Kurtz.
